2019 BREAK WEEK Programs for Ages 2.5-7

BREAK WEEK PROGRAMS

APRIL BREAK

IRON CHEF

Turn up the Heat! Bring your appetite because during this week we’ll get creative as we learn to measure, experiment with ingredients and
explore fun, food-themed activities. Yak campers will team up and aim for the ultimate prize – to taste their own yummy creations. Kids will
have all kinds of fun ways to use the target language – to create menus, measure and work with secret ingredients, and watch the clock to
get creations done in time. So as they say “with an open heart and an empty stomach”, come join us, and let’s get cooking!

Note: families are not charged a registration fee if only break week programs.

FEBRUARY BREAK

DINO-LAND

This prehistoric break week program is all about dinos. Students will be palentologists-in-training, learning about dinosaurs and fossils and how scientists piece together the fossils and clues they find in the earth. Then our young scientists will explore what would happen if dinosaurs lived in our cities and town and build their own modern-day dinosaur land!

BONUS FUN ACTIVITIES: Tuesday, February 19th is Chinese Lantern Festival, so we'll be learning about this neat cultural tradition and some Mandarin words and songs while exploring the wonders of illumination!

Note: families are not charged a registration fee if only break week programs.
